The site

This website describes the services of Wilshire Lock & Key. Its content is general information, not a quote: every job is priced for its actual circumstances, confirmed with you before work begins. We work to keep vehicle and hardware information accurate and honestly flagged where sources conflict, but specifics are always confirmed in person or by VIN.

Booking work

• Verification: for entry, rekeying, and key origination we require ID and proof of residency, ownership, or written authorization. We refuse work when verification fails — without exception.
• Quotes: the technician confirms the price after inspecting the lock, door, safe, or vehicle, before starting. Declining at that point is always your right.
• Payment: due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing (commercial accounts).

Workmanship

Installations and repairs are warranted against defects in our workmanship. Hardware carries its manufacturer's warranty. Normal wear, abuse, and pre-existing damage aren't covered — and we'll tell you on site when a lock's condition limits what any locksmith can promise.

Liability

To the extent permitted by California law, our liability for any claim arising from the services or this site is limited to the amount paid for the work at issue. Nothing here limits liability that California law does not allow to be limited.
