GLE (W166) — renamed from ML for MY2016, and most remain FBS3: VVDI MB documents W166 all-keys-lost without removing the EIS, and vendor notes warn late builds may need current tool firmware for the password calculation. But Mercedes' fallback-process bulletin (S-B-80.57/62e) lists model 166 from July 2013 production among vehicles that can be FBS4, so a late car can be FBS4 and effectively dealer-only — we confirm FBS3 vs FBS4 from the VIN/Vedoc data before quoting instead of assuming from the model year.
