ML (W166): most are FBS3 — VVDI MB documents W166 all-keys-lost without removing the EIS (online password calculation) — but Mercedes' fallback-process bulletin (S-B-80.57/62e) lists model 166 from July 2013 production among vehicles that can be FBS4, so we confirm FBS3 vs FBS4 from the VIN/Vedoc data before quoting. FBS3 cars are specialist-serviceable including all-keys-lost; an FBS4 car is effectively dealer-only. KEYLESS-GO optional; insert-and-twist ignition standard.
