Not on Hyundai's software-update list, but US base cars broadly lack immobilizers (consistent with the 2021-2023 theft wave and Hyundai's steering-wheel-lock reimbursement for no-immobilizer cars that could not take the update). One US locksmith guide lists an ID46 flip key for 2012-2017 — though the same guide's chip claims conflict with Hyundai's official no-immobilizer list on the later HC Accent — so sources conflict. We confirm chip-or-no-chip on the vehicle before cutting.
